Relax to Renew

We (my honey and I) have come to the San Juan Islands and are camping at a little spot – Micthell Bay Campground – rather small yet functional – we’ll see when more people arrive this evening as it is friday night leading into the American 4th of July.

What I really want to tell you about is this lovey cafe in Friday Harbour that is an extension of a lavendar farm in mid island – Pelindaba Lavendar and now they also have a spa. There is free wireless and it is beautiful in here with tasty homemade savoury and sweets.

The spa has an open house tonight with free massages – so will definitely attend.

This San Juan Island also has lots of whale watching so this afternoon we’ll be out walking and with any luck watching whales – what a relaxing place and pace AND so many intersting things to do – like a nature trail sculpture park – over 120 statues – amazing.
